Before joining FGS Global, Daniel has worked as a journalist and media manager in Frankfurt and London for more than two decades. Most recently, he led the German Bureau of Bloomberg News and was responsible for the three German sites with nearly 60 employees. Prior to that, he led the finance section and Frankfurt bureau of Handelsblatt and worked as correspondent for Germany and banking reporter for the British Financial Times in Frankfurt and London. He started his career as a banking and business reporter at the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung.
Daniel has received several awards for his work as journalist and author, including the German Journalism Award, the Sponsorship Award of the Ludwig Erhard Foundation and the German Business Book Award for his book on how financial investors are transforming Germany. He studied Communication Science at the University of Hohenheim and Politics and International Relations at the University of Kent in Canterbury.
