Danny Gomez is a Director in FGS Global’s Government Affairs Division in Washington D.C. Danny supports clients in the financial services and education practices, including with legislative and regulatory strategy to help advance their interests in Congress and the executive branch.
A former Capitol Hill staffer, Danny previously handled financial services policy for Sen. Deb Fischer (R-NE) and has expertise with banking, budget, tax policy, housing policy, and labor and retirement policy, during both Trump and Biden administrations. Danny also managed Sen. Fischer’s elections policy portfolio on the Senate Rules Committee during the 2020 presidential election. He began his career as a Press Intern in the House of Representatives.
A Miami native with Cuban roots, Danny graduated from Florida International University with a B.A. in Political Science and from Georgetown University with an M.A. in Journalism. He resides in Virginia with his wife and daughter.
