Danya Al-Qattan is a Partner in the New York office. She advises clients on complex financial communications matters and special situations including contested and friendly M&A transactions, shareholder activism campaigns, spin-offs, IPOs, litigation matters and crises, as well as ongoing strategic media and investor communications programs.

Representative engagements include advising: Wyndham Hotels in its successful defense against Choice Hotels $8 billion hostile takeover bid and full slate proxy fight; HPE on its $14 billion acquisition of Juniper Networks; Arm on its public listing on the NASDAQ; NI on its defense against and subsequent $8.2 billion transaction with Emerson; Yelp on its proxy defense against TCS Capital and SQN; Rover on its take private by Blackstone; Avid Technology on its transaction with STG; DISH Network Corporation on its transaction with EchoStar Corporation; UserTesting on its take private by Thoma Bravo; International Paper on its spin-off of Sylvamo; Genesco on its successful proxy defense against Legion Partners; Shiseido on its acquisition of Dr. Dennis Gross and sale of bareMinerals, BUXOM and Laura Mercier to Advent International; Becton Dickinson on its acquisition of C.R. Danya graduated from Tufts University with a B.A. in International Relations and a minor in Art History.
