David is a Partner in the San Francisco office and works with a number of technology clients, including semiconductor and enterprise software companies, and private equity firms.

He has extensive experience across a wide range of M&A assignments - including cross-border transactions, RMTs, and take-privates - across several industries. Representative transactions include II-VI's acquisition of Coherent, Intel's acquisitions of Mobileye and Altera, and Gardner Denver's combination with Ingersoll Rand's Industrial segment. David has also advised a number of private equity and growth equity firms on investment announcements and portfolio company exits.

Other notable special situations include supporting Clover Technologies and Avaya on their respective chapter 11 filings, assisting multiple companies with data breaches, network intrusions and security vulnerability disclosures, advising multiple companies through shareholder activism campaigns, and multiple product recalls.

During his career, David has also provided strategic investor relations counsel and support to a number of technology and media companies. David has also developed and executed a number of corporate positioning campaigns for companies.

David graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz with a B.A. in business management economics.
