Dave has spent nearly 35 years supporting multinational corporations in the transportation and energy sectors. He has lived in Asia, Europe and the United States, where he has served as a front-line spokesperson, strategic communicator and C-suite communications advisor.

Detroit born and bred, Dave married his college sweetheart and has been in perpetual motion ever since. A continually recovering runner, car nut and baseball/football addict, he enjoys spending time with his wife, four children and grandson and working on classic sports cars.

An accomplished international communications executive, Dave has nearly 35 years of experience serving multinational corporations and agencies across the energy and transportation sectors. He has deep experience supporting companies across a range of complex issues, including crisis management, consumer product communications, mergers and acquisitions, brand and reputation management, thought leadership, executive communications and social and advocacy campaigning.
Dave began his career in the automotive industry, first as a journalist and agency professional before spending nearly 25 years at Ford Motor Company, Volkswagen A.G. and Nissan Motor Company, where he rose to serve in global leadership positions. Following his time in automotive, Dave spent nearly seven years serving as chief communications and marketing officer and a member of the senior leadership team for NextEra Energy, Inc., America’s No. 1 power provider and investor in energy infrastructure.
He has lived in Asia, Europe and the United States where he has led large teams of communications professionals while serving as a front-line spokesperson, strategic communicator and communications advisor directly supporting and reporting to management committees and the C-suite.
Dave holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan. He enjoys spending time with his wife, four children and grandson while training for distance running events and working on classic sports cars.
