Debra Greenspan is a Partner and co-leader of FGS Global’s Energy & Sustainability team. Deb has spent more than a decade supporting corporations, think tanks, multilateral institutions and advocacy organizations shaping the world’s most pressing climate, energy and sustainability conversations. Deb’s work on climate change has taken her to six continents and her expertise spans multiple sectors including power, transportation, manufacturing, food and consumer goods.
In the quickly evolving worlds of decarbonization, ESG and science-based climate targets, Deb assists clients in rollouts of major announcements, organizing the design and launch of integrated campaigns and building corporate and executive profiles in the space. The consummate team player, Deb ensures clients have a partner by their side navigating complex issues and high stakes moments.
In 2019, Deb was named to the inaugural class of The Atlantic Council Global Energy Center’s Women Leaders in Energy fellows. Prior to joining the firm, Deb worked for Senator Chris Dodd (D-CT) in his D.C. Senate office and on his 2008 presidential primary campaign.
Debra holds a BA with honors in Public Policy from Brown University. She lives in Washington, D.C. with her partner.
