As a Partner at FGS Global, Ed Adler represents clients in traditional and digital media, marketing, financial and professional services, entertainment, and tech. In a long corporate and consulting career, Ed has developed expertise in all aspects of corporate communications including reputation management, CEO positioning, brand building, high level media relations, and crisis, internal, and financial communications.
A highly respected communications professional, he managed global corporate communications at Time Warner Inc. before going on to build a successful strategic communications practice and then joining predecessor firm Finsbury. Ed was EVP, Corporate Communications for Time Warner Inc. from 2004 to 2010. In a decades-long career at the company, Adler reported to three consecutive CEOs and supervised communications between the individual operating divisions, advising on mergers, acquisitions and management shifts. He also provided expert solutions to corporate public crises and worked side-by-side with investor relations and public policy teams.
Prior to that, he held several high-profile communications positions for the company and worked as a programming executive for HBO and as a reporter for Time magazine. A native New Yorker, he holds a B.A. from Vassar College and a M.A. in Journalism from NYU. He is on the board of Union Settlement and New York Stage and Film. He is also a member of Vassar College President’s Advisory Committee and an honorary board member of New York Cares. He is listed in Who’s Who In America.
