Edward Bowie

Ed’s work centres on clients’ challenging political moments. He guides clients through contentious legislative or regulatory reform, developing engagement strategies that ensure that policy is as effective and practical as possible. He also works extensively on securing deal clearance for politically-sensitive transactions, helping to guide clients through national security, M&A and other high-profile merger activity. His background is in public and regulatory law, where he worked for five years guiding clients through public policy change and resulting litigation. He was also a political advisor in the New Zealand government, bringing together his legal, media and political skills to help deliver a policy agenda from within a senior cabinet Minister's office.
