Loves staying busy and active with her husband and three kids (and all their sports), never misses a chance to play volleyball and is steadily growing her pickleball and tennis game.
Emily brings nearly two decades of health care expertise, including more than a decade in senior roles on Capitol Hill, to the practice where she works on all areas of federal health care and specializes in Medicare coverage and reimbursement, health tax, commercial insurance and value-based care policy and bipartisan legislative strategy. She is uniquely suited to help clients navigating complex federal health care policy and advises a broad range of both emerging and global companies across AI-assisted and other health technology, medical device, biopharmaceutical, providers, commercial and employer insurance.
Prior to joining FGS Global, Emily served in several senior advisor roles for Republican Leadership, Committees and Caucuses. As Health Subcommittee Staff Director on the House Ways and Means Committee under Chairman Brady, she led the health care team responsible for developing and seeing major legislation through to enactment, built successful coalitions of members and outside stakeholders, worked closely with the Administration and led the bipartisan passage and enactment of numerous reforms and extensions of significant Medicare programs, repeal of burdensome government regulations and boards, and expansion of health tax benefits. Before her role on Committee, Emily served as Senior Policy Advisor to Majority Leader McCarthy, where she was instrumental in crafting and advancing the Republican health care, entitlement, trade, and retirement agenda in House leadership and served as a key touchpoint with the Administration. Earlier in her career, she worked for the Republican Study Committee, Congressman Ken Calvert, and Congressman Tom Price.
