With a professional legal background, Felipe Garcia and a group of colleagues started a law Firm in Colombia in 1997 where he was Managing Partner for the first 15 years, building reputation in energy and telecom. During those years he also dedicated time to teach law at bachelor and post graduate levels while lecturing on negotiation and building on the influence of law firms in the tailoring law and rule of law.
Felipe was later elected magistrate of Colombia’s National Electoral Council, where he served for four years, and further appointed Ambassador to Belgium, Luxembourg, the EU and NATO. His latter experience served the interests of Latin American companies and organizations before the European institutions in Brussels as Associate Partner of Hague Corporate Affairs.
Felipe has BA in law and a minor in Socio-economic Sciences, was formed as a negotiation trainer in Harvard (MA, USA) and is also an arbitrator, certified by the Supreme Court of Florida (USA).
