Folker Dries is a Managing Partner at FGS Global and works out of the Frankfurt office. He focuses on advising clients from various industries particularly on issues relating to corporate and CEO positioning and financial communications. Folker is also FGS Global's media trainer. He has completed more than 500 trainings at board level. His trainings are very content-driven and prepare the clients mainly for events like interviews, press conferences or annual general meetings.
Prior to moving into consultancy, Folker loved the printed word. He spent nearly 18 years working as a business journalist; in his last role, he was the Financial Editor at the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ) in Frankfurt. Before that, he was the newspaper’s Wall Street correspondent in New York, where he first reported on the internet bubble and then on 911. Folker started out in journalism at the Börsen-Zeitung as a correspondent in Munich, London and New York. Folker holds a diploma in economics. He studied at the University of Würzburg.
