Gina Foote is a Partner in the firm's Government Affairs practice. She brings more than 15 years of experience to help clients navigate Washington, achieve their policy goals, and protect their brands. She designs and executes strategies built around legislative initiatives or agency proceedings and focuses on issues that span technology, media, and telecommunications.
Prior to joining FGS Global, Gina served as Chief of Staff to then-Congressman Ted Poe (R-TX), a senior Member of the House Judiciary and Foreign Affairs Committees and Chairman of the Terrorism, Nonproliferation, and Trade Subcommittee. In this role, Gina oversaw all legislative, communications, and political matters. She also ran three successful congressional campaigns.
Before serving as Chief of Staff, Gina worked as Associate General Counsel at BGR Group where she provided advice on legal, legislative, and political matters and managed the firm’s research operation.
Gina began her career on Capitol Hill as Legislative Counsel in the House, handling a diverse portfolio, including matters before the Judiciary, Energy & Commerce, and Financial Services Committees. She also spearheaded the Congressional Victims' Rights Caucus through which she convened stakeholders and bipartisan congressional offices to advance legislation.
Gina graduated magna cum laude from James Madison University with a BA in History and from St. John’s University School of Law with a JD. Gina lives in DC with her husband and three children.
