With his ex-employer, Hazem advised the UAE’s MoPA in addition to a host of financial institutions and semi-government organisations including ADNOC and Franklin Templeton.

He was formerly the head of Arabic at FGH, servicing a wide range of clients including Mubadala, Tabreed, the Ministry of Finance (Saudi), Morgan Stanley and Renaissance Capital.

Hazem Assalieh is a bilingual PR professional with 15+ years of experience in corporate, financial communications and media across the Middle East. He has a strong track record advising regional companies and government entities and coaching executives on best practice communications and stakeholder engagement, particularly when it comes to Arabic audiences.

Hazem possesses in-depth understanding of the Arab markets and his clients have been relying upon his extensive regional media relations, copywriting skills and digital communications capabilities in building and boosting their respective communications practices.

With his ex-employer, Teneo, Hazem served as a public affairs and communications advisor to the UAE’s Ministry of Presidential Affairs (Presidential Protocol Affairs), in addition to a host of leading private and publicly listed entities and financial institutions including ADNOC, Anglo Gold Ashanti, Franklin Templeton and Saudi Technology Ventures (STV).

Formerly, and as a head of Arabic at FGH, Hazem serviced a wide range of clients including Tabreed, Mubadala, the Ministry of Finance (Saudi), General Entertainment Authority (Saudi), and different local and global financial institutions including Morgan Stanley, Rasmala, FIS and Renaissance Capital. Additionally, he advised the government of Saudi Arabia on its subsidy reform program and budget announcements (2016 & 2017).

Hazem holds a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Aleppo, Syria.
