Iain is a Partner for FGS Global in Singapore and Southeast Asia. Iain has over 25 years of experience advising Boards, Government Leaders, and Founders across issues management, business transformation, strategic communications, market entry, marketing, risk, and reputation.

Iain has operated across Southeast Asia and APAC for the past decade and previously set up an advisory firm focused on litigation communications, FDI, country positioning, issues management, c-suite training, and entertainment.

Iain is a Board member and advisor to an investment firm focused on early-stage technology companies, an ESG reporting and technology business, and a global esports and entertainment business.

Before joining FGS Global, Iain spent 14 years at Edelman. He was Vice Chairman of APACMEA, ran Edelman’s Southeast Asia and Australia businesses, and set up three award-winning offices in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Saudi Arabia.

His early career was in economic development and political advocacy, working in Brisbane, Canberra, London and Brussels.

Iain holds degrees in economics and politics from the University of Queensland and is currently studying sustainability at MIT.

A long-term internationalist, Iain has lived in Australia, Brunei, Oman, Syria, Nigeria, Holland, England, Belgium, the UAE and Singapore.
