James Gray is a Managing Director at FGS Global, where he advises leading listed and international companies on financial and corporate communications, reputation and complex strategic situations. He has more nearly 15 years of experience working with senior executives across the FTSE 100, FTSE 250 and international markets.
His work focuses on helping companies communicate clearly and credibly at moments that matter, whether articulating strategy and performance, managing change, navigating transactions or responding to heightened scrutiny.
James has particular depth in industrials and healthcare sectors. He has advised major companies across engineering, manufacturing, construction and adjacent sectors, giving him a strong understanding of the strategic, operational and reputational issues facing complex industrial businesses. His healthcare experience spans medtech, biopharma and generics.
Alongside his core financial and corporate communications work, James has extensive experience advising on major transactions, shareholder activism and sensitive reputational issues. He has supported clients through fast-moving and high-pressure situations where leadership credibility, stakeholder confidence and corporate reputation are closely intertwined.
James holds the Certificate in Investor Relations (CIR) and a degree in Modern and Medieval Languages from the University of Cambridge.
