For over twelve years, Jan worked as a communications professional in dynamic environments – navigating three federal and two european election campaigns and leading the Public Relations Department at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action.

Jan Prinzwald is a Director in the Berlin office of FGS Global and part of the Intelligence & Engagement team. Amid the rapidly changing media and communications environment, he helps clients stay focused on their most relevant stakeholders and key touchpoints, enabling them to engage effectively.
With experience working for a political party and the federal government, Jan knows how to mobilize people and enjoys finding the sweet spot, where corporate interests align with the common good. Having developed large-scale communication campaigns addressing audiences across Germany, he is equally adept at engaging with specific stakeholders – from start-up environments to the industrial sector.
Jan received a scholarship from the Heinrich Böll Foundation and holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Bremen and a master’s degree in political science from Freie Universität Berlin. He also studied at American University in Washington D.C., USA. He now lives in Brandenburg, just outside Berlin, with his wife and their two children.
