Jean-François Tanda is a Managing Director in FGS Global’s Zurich office, advising clients who face high-stakes challenges at the intersection of litigation risk, media scrutiny, and reputation. He joined FGS Global from a Zurich-based international boutique consultancy he co-founded, which focused on advising law firms, financial market players, start-ups, and non-profit organizations on litigation PR and media relations.
Earlier in his career, Jean-François worked as an investigative journalist and business reporter for Swiss and international media outlets, as well as a legal counsel for Switzerland’s public broadcaster and the country’s largest journalists’ union.
He holds a bilingual law degree (lic. iur./MLaw) from the University of Fribourg, an LL.M. from City Law School, University of London, and a diploma from the Swiss journalism school MAZ in Lucerne.
