Jeff spent more than a decade covering financial companies in his native Switzerland, mostly with a focus on banks. He covered everything from small asset managers at banking blog finews.ch to what used to be two large Swiss banks at Bloomberg News. His last job as a journalist was as the editor of the companies section at Finanz und Wirtschaft.
Life Beyond FGS Global
Loves hiking, hunting, yoga, and, most of all, spending time with his family. When he's not outdoors, he spends almost too much of his time reading.
Jeffrey Vögeli loves a good story and he wants to help his clients tell theirs. As a Director in the Zurich office, he advises companies in a wide array of sectors on all aspects of their capital markets communication and strategic positioning, with particular expertise in communication vis-à-vis the media.
Prior to FGS Global he worked as a journalist for various publications. His last post was as editor of the companies section at Swiss financial newspaper Finanz und Wirtschaft, where he led the finance and industrials teams. Before that he worked for finews.ch, a news website focusing on the financial sector in Switzerland. Previously, he spent three years as Bloomberg News's Swiss banking correspondent and 18 months as a freelance correspondent in Houston, TX.
Jeff has a Master's Degree in Law and Economics from the University of St. Gallen.
