Life Beyond FGS Global

Boy mom of two. They are delightfully rambunctious and decidedly in charge.

Jenni LeCompte is a Partner in FGS Global’s Strategic Communications Division. She co-leads the firm’s Government Relations, Policy and Advocacy practice group in the U.S., develops integrated communications campaigns and provides high-level strategic messaging and media counsel.

Jenni joined the firm with more than 15 years of national communications experience in complicated and challenging environments at the highest levels in the Executive Branch, Capitol Hill, political campaigns and party politics. A veteran of the Treasury Department during the financial crisis, Jenni was confirmed by the U.S. Senate as Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs in June 2011. In this capacity, she led a team responsible for developing and implementing strategic communications planning and advising Secretary Tim Geithner and other officials on how best to communicate with the American people.

Previously, Jenni served as Deputy CEO for Public Affairs for the Democratic National Convention Committee, where she was responsible for the 2008 Democratic National Convention message development and delivery. She also worked on Capitol Hill in the communications offices of Senators Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) and Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) and in the White House press office during the Clinton Administration.

A Wisconsin native, Jenni holds a BS from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism. She lives with her husband and two sons in northern Virginia.
