Jennifer Baaklini is a Director at FGS Global, where she advises clients on digital strategy. She specializes in optimizing public diplomacy and foreign policy messaging to engage target audiences across digital platforms.

Since 2019, Jennifer has worked closely with the UAE Embassy in Washington, D.C. to develop and implement innovative digital strategies that reflect and advance the Embassy’s robust U.S. public diplomacy program. She has worked with the Embassy on leveling-up its social media presence, rapid response communications, and adapting its public diplomacy program to the virtual space during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Prior to joining the firm, Jennifer worked at the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs as a social media manager and at the Institute of International Education (IIE) as Fulbright U.S. Student Program social media program officer. In both roles she communicated the importance of U.S. government exchange programs to U.S. taxpayers through storytelling and robust digital tactics.

Jennifer earned her MBA at George Washington University in 2020, specializing in digital marketing and leadership management, and holds a bachelor’s in journalism with honors from Penn State University, Schreyer Honors College.
