Jennifer Young is a Partner in FGS Global's Government Affairs Division. She provides strategic political and legislative counsel on a broad range of issues to the firm's Health practice.
Prior to joining the firm, Jennifer served as Assistant Secretary for Legislation at the Department of Health and Human Services and Senior Counselor to Secretary Mike Leavitt. In this capacity, Jennifer was integral to the development, passage, and implementation of the Medicare Modernization Act and oversaw all legislative efforts on behalf of HHS. She also served on the staff of the House Ways and Means Committee and the Senate Finance Committee and headed the health care team at the National Governor's Association.
