Jesse Adelman is a Managing Director at FGS Global and leads the firm’s Story Team in conceiving and executing creative campaigns. Jesse employs brand personification and rich world building to solve strategic problems with provocative and entertaining work.
Jesse began his career as a reporter covering politics and policing for two NYC weeklies. He left journalism to become the Director of New Media for the Prospect Park Alliance, a non-profit conservancy in Brooklyn, before entering the world of advertising in 2010. As a writer, composer, film editor, and creative director he’s helped conceive and create dozens of national and global campaigns, working to simplify the complex and personify the abstract. He believes all communicators have a solemn, dual responsibility: always entertain, and occasionally tell the truth.
Jesse has a BA from Brown University in English and American Literature. His satirical essays have been published in two books from McSweeney’s: The Book of Politics and Musicals and McSweeney’s Quarterly Concern. In 2019 he co-wrote and produced “Reggae Forever,” which spent 6 weeks at #1 on the Billboard Reggae chart and received a Grammy nomination for Best Reggae Album. He lives in The Bronx, NY with his wife, son, and dog.
