Outside work, Jill can be found spending time with her husband, son, and dog Winifred "Winnie" Sanderson. A lifelong traveler, she is on a mission to visit every country, driven by a love of new cultures, food, and the opportunity to experience the world through her son's eyes.
Jillian Hazelton is a Managing Director at FGS Global in Boston, where she advises private capital clients on financial communications, investor relations, and corporate positioning. She brings a unique perspective to this work, having spent more than 15 years inside some of the world's leading private equity and alternative asset management firms, building and running the communications functions that shape how GPs are seen by their current and prospective investors and portfolio executives, the media, and the broader market.
Before joining FGS, Hazelton served as Global Head of Marketing & Communications at Bregal Investments, a global middle-market private equity firm. She was the firm's first dedicated communications hire, building the function from the ground up across seven distinct investment strategies spanning North America and Europe. Prior to Bregal, Jillian spent nearly five years at Audax Private Equity, where she worked across investor relations, marketing, and communications functions. Her earlier career included roles at Providence Equity Partners, Natixis Investment Managers, Riverside Partners, and AGC Partners.
Jillian holds an M.S. from Northwestern University and a B.S. from Bentley University. She lives in the South End of Boston with her husband, son, and dog.
