Advises clients on managing digital crises – from deepfake fraud and disinformation campaigns to cybersecurity incidents. He also focuses on clients in the defense sector and the impact of geopolitical developments on the cyber and information domain.
Ex-Journalist. Until June 2025, he headed one of Germany’s largest specialist editorial teams for digitalization, AI, and cybersecurity. Author of a book on hybrid warfare and social resilience.
Enjoys spending time with his partner and the two cats. Fascinated by geopolitics, history, oenology, and the south of France. Likes to watch his vegetables grow.
Johannes is Managing Director and Head of Digital Crisis Continental Europe. At Tagesspiegel, he was responsible for the “Background” briefings on cybersecurity, digitalization & AI, and smart cities as editorial director until June 2025.
Previously, he worked as a consultant and was editor for technology and start-ups at Germany's leading business and financial daily Handelsblatt.
