Joseph Caruso

Joseph Caruso is a Partner in the Strategic Communications Division. Joe has a background in finance and extensive experience working in the financial services sector. At Finsbury Glover Hering, Joe oversees public affairs and strategic communications efforts on behalf of a wide range of financial institutions, corporations, trade groups and issue coalitions. Joe provides strategic counsel to organizations navigating business or marketplace complexities, public policy challenges and reputation-related issues. He has developed expertise in a broad set of topics related to capital market and banking issues, alternative investments, financial regulatory reform, consumer finance, housing finance, and tax policy.

Prior to joining Finsbury Glover Hering, Joe worked on Wall Street, most recently as a Senior Analyst for Goldman Sachs in the Structured Finance Group. Prior to that, he served as a Senior Risk Consultant for Ernst & Young in their financial services practice.

Joe holds a Master’s in Campaign Management and Communications from The George Washington University’s Graduate School of Political Management. He also holds an MBA from Union College in New York, and a BS in Mathematics, also from Union College. He lives in Bethesda, Maryland.
