Kala Krishnan

Kala Latha-Krishnan is a Managing Director on FGS Global’s Transactions & Financial Communications team in New York. She advises clients on complex financial, corporate and special situations, including cross-border M&A, IPOs, SPACs and shareholder activism. She also partners with clients to craft compelling investment theses and build impactful investor relations programs.

Kala works closely with business leaders across a diverse range of industries, including financial services, energy, health care, infrastructure and technology. Key representations include Takeda Pharmaceutical Company in its acquisition of Shire, ABB in its acquisition of GE Industrial Solutions, and various SPAC mergers and listings, including MultiPlan with Churchill Capital Corporation, Social Capital’s SPACs and the loanDepot IPO.

Her broad expertise also encompasses management transitions, executive visibility and corporate profile-raising campaigns. Additionally, she brings significant experience in leading US focused profile-raising mandates for companies in the Middle East and Asia.

Prior to joining the firm, Kala worked with Ernst & Young’s Transaction Advisory practice in Mumbai, India, where she advised on domestic and global transactions across a variety of industries.

Kala is a Chartered Accountant (CPA) accredited by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a graduate of the University of Mumbai. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Public Relations from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, where she focused on investor relations.
