Katie Myler is a Partner in the Strategic Communications Division and is based in FGS Global’s New York office. She specializes in C-suite strategy, media counsel and develops strategies for crisis and reputation management.
In her current role, Katie has worked on a wide range of issues with challenged clients including iGaming brands, sports leagues, sports start-ups and speciality investment banks, as well as Churchill Downs, Deloitte and Fluor.
Before joining FGS Global, Katie held leadership positions at Burson-Marsteller working with clients including Ford Motor Company, Accenture and Nestle Water.
Prior to that, Katie worked in the British Government as a Special Advisor to the Home Secretary and the Secretary of State for Health. At the Home Office, Katie shaped communications across a range of high-profile and agenda-setting topics including counter-terror, immigration, law and order and MI5. It was a role that often meant contentious frontline news management with the national and political press corps. At the Department of Health, she oversaw all communications from the department and managed media fallout from the human tragedies that can occur within the NHS.
Katie began her career in TV as a runner on a daily news and current affairs show. She worked her way up to News Editor, with a stint in the U.S. as North America bureau chief.
