Kevin Ma

Kevin Ma is a Managing Director based in Beijing. He has over a decade of experience in financial communications, corporate communications as well as government & public affairs. Kevin has provided investor relations, cross-border M&A, corporate reputation, CEO positioning, thought leadership building, and special situations advisory services to multinational corporations and leading Chinese companies in diversified sectors. He has worked on some high-profile acquisition deals by leading Chinese companies and businessmen into overseas assets in finance, energy and sports sectors.

At FGS Global, Kevin has worked with corporations and civil society organizations to build and protect their corporate reputations. He also advised on public policy communications and public affairs strategies in China, with a view on the role of strategic communications for clients with multinational operations under the increasingly thorny geopolitical landscape.

Prior to joining FGS Global, Kevin worked in the corporate communications, public affairs and cross-border financial communications areas with other consultancies. Earlier in his career, he has also worked on media and stakeholder relations mandates with Chinese central SOEs.

A graduate of the University of Melbourne’s Melbourne Business School, Kevin holds a master’s degree in Marketing. He speaks fluent English in addition to his native language of Chinese.
