Kimberly Vidal is a Director in FGS Global’s Government Affairs Division. As a member of the divisions’ International Affairs team, she supports clients on a range of foreign policy, global health and development, and national security issues. She also has experience working on a range of social impact, tax, energy, and transportation issues.
Prior to joining FGS Global, Kimberly began her career supporting government affairs teams, non-profit organizations, and law firms at Servcorp. She interned at the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism (START) geocoding the locations of terrorist incidents for the Global Terrorism Database. Kimberly also completed internships with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Public Affairs, the House of Representatives, and on a Congressional campaign.
Kimberly is a member of the Center for Strategic and International Studies’ Africa Policy Accelerator. She earned a master's degree in Security Studies from Georgetown University and bachelor's degrees in Homeland and National Security Studies and Political Science from American University.
