Kolby Keo is a Director in FGS Global’s Washington D.C. office, where he develops and executes public diplomacy and communications campaigns for clients in the firm’s international affairs practice.
Since 2019, Kolby has supported the implementation of a comprehensive U.S. public diplomacy program on behalf of one of the United States’ strongest allies in the Middle East. He develops and leads outreach programs to build awareness of the bilateral relationship.
Prior to joining the firm, Kolby ran the Executive Director’s office and led stakeholder engagement and external affairs for the University of California Washington Program (UCDC). Son and grandson of Cambodian refugees, he proudly worked as a legislative aide for former U.S. Representative Alan Lowenthal, helping serve the largest Khmer community outside of Cambodia.
Beyond FGS Global, Kolby serves as chair of the Conference on Asian Pacific American Leadership (CAPAL). He is a past president of the global nonprofit Young Professionals in Foreign Policy (YPFP) and served as a city commissioner for his hometown, Garden Grove, California from 2013 to 2015.
Kolby received a BA from UC Irvine where he graduated summa cum laude with the Chancellor’s Award of Distinction.
