Lucy Dao

Lucy Dao is a Director in the Los Angeles office. Lucy advises companies on a variety of high-stakes situations including IPOs, mergers and acquisitions, crisis situations and litigation, senior management transitions, and ongoing corporate positioning and media relations programs. She provides counsel to companies at all stages of growth across a broad range of industries, including technology, media, consumer and financial services.

Lucy specializes in complex cross-border mandates, with extensive experience in transpacific engagements between the United States and Asia-Pacific. Prior to relocating to the U.S. West Coast, Lucy spent over six years in the firm’s Hong Kong office, where she supported various high-profile capital markets transactions in the U.S. and Asia and served clients in markets spanning Greater China, Japan, South Korea, and Southeast Asia.

Lucy graduated from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) with an MA in International Relations and International Economics.
