Was Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Head of Operations of Heidrick & Struggles (Nasdaq: HSII) and member of the firm’s Executive Committee. Responsible for the company’s finance and accounting functions, information technology and business operations, based in New York.

Life Beyond FGS Global

Loves to travel abroad, avid weight lifter, wine collector and football coach when time permits.

Mark is the Chief Financial and Operations Officer of FGS Global, who sits on our Executive Committee. He is responsible for all finance and accounting areas, IT and operations. Prior to joining FGS Global, he was the Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Head of Information Technology at Heidrick & Struggles, as Nasdaq listed company for seven years. Previous to joining Heidrick & Struggles, he was the chief financial officer and chief accounting officer of Hercules Capital, a publicly traded business development company on the NYSE for three years. Before that, he was the senior portfolio manager, head of asset management and chief financial officer of Avenue Capital Group’s Asia Pacific platform for nearly 10 years. He also previously served as the corporate financial controller of Hutchison Telecommunication International Limited, a NYSE company for three years.

He is an active certified public accountant in the state of California.

He graduated from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business, MBA and California Polytechnic State University, Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration

He is a Foundation board member of his alma mater, California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. He has served on numerous board of directors in both public and private companies.
