As a Partner in FGS Global’s Government Relations Division, Matthis Kaiser brings over ten years of advisory experience on public policy, regulatory strategy, advocacy, and strategic communications.
Matthis particularly advises clients in financial services and infrastructure, telecommunications, and technology/digital markets. He has advised on numerous M&A transactions on the political dimension of merger control, FDI, and regulatory approval processes. In addition to his public policy expertise, Matthis advises companies on corporate purpose, ESG, and sustainability.
Prior to joining the firm, Matthis worked for several think tanks and NGOs, a Member of the German Federal Parliament, and a pricing strategy consulting firm. He also served in the German Naval Forces.
Matthis studied Business, European competition law, and Political Science at, respectively, Harvard Business School, King’s College London, and the University of Bonn.
