Michael provides strategic communications counsel to clients across many industries during times of crisis and profound change. Regardless of the issue or assignment, Michael applies a holistic approach to his work by creating tailored and comprehensive communications strategies that engage a company’s or organization’s internal and external stakeholders.
At FGS Global, Michael uses his background as a former practicing attorney to guide clients through litigations and restructurings that have been the subject of intense public interest and has helped companies navigate through periods of transformation and reorganization.
Prior to joining the firm in 2015, Michael served as the Director of Public Affairs for the Jewish Community Relations Council of New York where he successfully guided the organization through a series of sensitive issues. He also worked with the Obama Administration and Obama for America campaign as a national advance associate, organizing official presidential visits around the world. Michael began his professional career in publicity at Miramax Films and later worked as an attorney at Cahill Gordon & Reindel and Weil, Gotshal & Manges. Michael serves on the Board of Directors of the Westchester Jewish Council. He has a J.D. from the George Washington University Law School and a B.A. with Honors in Communication Studies from the University of Michigan.
