Michelle Van Wyk

Michelle Van Wyk is a Director in the Los Angeles office. She advises clients on communications strategies across a wide variety of capital markets, M&A, corporate reputation, litigation and crisis situations.

Recent notable assignments include advising Rent the Runway, Xponential Fitness, Cue Health and VIZIO on their respective public listings, Quibi on the wind down of its business, MGM Studios on the expansion of its US theatrical film distribution partnership with Annapurna Pictures and the departure of its CEO, Hudson Pacific Properties on its joint venture with Blackstone and acquisitions of Star Waggons and Zio Studio Services, Hewlett Packard Enterprises on its acquisition of BlueData, Determined AI, Zerto and Ampool and other investor relations and corporate communications initiatives, Relativity Media on its Chapter 11 case and section 363 sale to UltraV Holdings, Shiseido Americas Corporation on various communications initiatives including support for other brands under company's umbrella, Live Nation and its subsidiary Ticketmaster on corporate positioning, and PayPal on its acquisition of Honey and other investor relations and corporate communications initiatives.

Earlier in her career, Michelle worked in media relations, public affairs and digital communications at The Walt Disney Company in Disney Parks, Experiences and Products.

Michelle holds a BA in communications from Tulane University.
