As a Managing Director in FGS Global’s Strategic Communications Division, Molly Bloom brings more than a decade of expertise in complex communications, crisis and issues management, corporate strategy, and profile-shaping to her clients in the entertainment and media sector.
A leader on the firm’s Entertainment team, Molly works directly with studio heads, filmmakers, creatives, and executives across clients’ corporate communications, public affairs, publicity, marketing, production, and international teams to design and execute effective communications strategies during high-stakes moments. In her time at FGS, Molly has advised clients on provocative content, talent controversies, sociopolitical flashpoints, technological and economic disruptions, audience polarization, geopolitical risk, organizational and personnel transitions, and M&A.
Prior to joining FGS Global, Molly worked in non-profit development and communications, most recently for a prominent homeless services and criminal justice reform organization in New York City. There, she supported donor communications, public and private sector partnerships, and organizational storytelling for the non-profit’s $60-million operations and social enterprises. She graduated with a BS in International Health from Georgetown University with a focus on systems-level interventions and culturally responsive communications. She currently lives in Brooklyn, NY and is believed to be among the NYT Games app’s most active daily users.
