Nicolai Kubbig is a Director in FGS Global’s Berlin office, advising multinationals in life sciences, healthcare, and automotive on advocacy, regulation, litigation, and stakeholder engagement, with a focus on US-German cross-border and global mandates.
Before joining FGS, Nicolai gained experience at the Bundestag, the Hessian Landtag, the German Embassy in Washington, D.C., Metro Group, and von Beust & Coll. He holds a Master’s from Potsdam University and a Bachelor’s degree from Zeppelin University, both as a Konrad Adenauer Foundation scholar.
Nicolai is an avid padel enthusiast and enjoys exploring contemporary literature and documentaries focused on politics and modern history. He also loves discovering new capital cities and is passionate about trying new cuisines and restaurants.
Nicolai Kubbig is a Director in FGS Global’s Berlin office, where he is a member of the Global Public Affairs (GPA) team. He advises multinational clients – particularly those in the life sciences, healthcare, and automotive sectors – on legislative advocacy, regulatory strategy, litigation communication, and stakeholder engagement. Nicolai specializes in strategizing and coordinating global advocacy mandates, with a particular emphasis on US-German cross-border projects. Over the past six years, he has led the development and implementation of global public affairs strategies for two leading multinational companies, ensuring measurable impact across jurisdictions.
Before joining FGS Global, Nicolai gained experience at the German Bundestag, the Hessian Landtag, the German Embassy in Washington, D.C., the public policy division of Metro Group in Berlin, and von Beust & Coll. Consulting. Nicolai holds a Master’s degree in Political Science from the University of Potsdam and a Bachelor’s degree in Politics, Administration, and International Relations from Zeppelin University, both earned as a scholar of the Konrad-Adenauer-Foundation.
