Pam Smith is a Partner in FGS Global's Government Affairs Division. She provides strategic political and legislative counsel on a broad range of issues to the firm's Health practice.
Prior to joining the firm, Pam served as both Staff Director and Deputy Staff Director of the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) under Chairman Tom Harkin. In this capacity, she oversaw the Committee's work on numerous bills and oversight efforts. Pam also served as Vice President of Federal Advocacy at PhRMA, Deputy Director of U.S. Government Relations for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Senior Director of Government Relations for the Catholic Health Association and spent five years in the U.S. Department of Justice.
