Peter advises senior executives of corporations, institutions and non-profits on complex reputational and positioning issues, particularly in times of crisis and fundamental transformation.
Life Pre-FGS Global
Peter spent nearly three decades at two major financial institutions in New York, Washington and Hong Kong. He also worked for the United States Congress and as a partner in a law firm, specializing in political litigation.

Manhattan resident, aspiring barbeque competitor, theater buff. His first novel is finished but as yet unpublished.
Peter Rose is a Senior Advisor, based in New York, where he is part of a senior team brought in to counsel clients on some of the most challenging and complex communication, reputational and crisis situations.
He began his career in Washington, D.C. with a law firm specializing in lobbying and representing witnesses, Members of Congress and their staffs, and others in various investigatory and committee proceedings. He then joined the Washington office of Goldman Sachs as a lobbyist and political analyst, working on issues they faced not only in the United States but in Europe and Asia. He moved to New York to start Goldman's first media relations office, as it prepared for its public offering and then relocated to Asia to run corporate communications there.
In 2007 he joined Blackstone, the world's largest alternative asset manager, as its first global head of public affairs. He was a Senior Advisor to the firm from 2016 to 2022.
Peter is a graduate of The George Washington University and The Yale Law School. He is on the board of DMC Global, a NASDAQ-listed industrial holding company, and on the national board of the NAACP, America's oldest and largest civil rights organization. He is also on the board of the Poetry Society of America.
