As Partner of FGS Global in Europe, Philipp Halstrick advises international clients of different sectors on all issues regarding capital market communications and strategic positioning. Together with the team he develops communications strategies for multinational companies and supports in implementing those. This includes transactions such as M&A and IPOs and all other topics with a relevance for capital markets. His focus lies on the expansion of FGS Global in Switzerland, as he has built up the office in Zurich and is leading the Swiss team. Most of his clients are Swiss multinationals which are being supported by international FGS Global teams. Also, based on his extensive experience in journalism, he offers media trainings for executives.
Prior to joining FGS Global, Philipp had worked for 14 years as a journalist for the international newswire Reuters in Germany. He served as the Top News Editor, coordinating the agency’s German file. Previously, he was leading the international financial services team in Frankfurt as Chief Correspondent. In that role, he also broadened and strengthened the M&A and corporate finance coverage. Philipp started his career as a trainee at the news agency. He studied political science and economics in Bamberg (Germany) and Fribourg (Switzerland).
