Life Beyond FGS Global

Enjoys mountain biking and reading. Loves spending time outside with his family.

As a Partner on FGS Global’s Government Relations, Policy and Advocacy team, Philipp Raidt brings more than a decade of experience in the tech, media and mobility sector to his clients. He helps companies and investors unlock value, manage risk and navigate regulation when they venture beyond established markets and industries.

Having spent many years in management and as a venture capital investor, Philipp combines a pragmatic business sense with expertise as a fully qualified lawyer (regulated industries, competition law, M&A and venture capital). He deeply understands the challenges business leaders and entrepreneurs are facing. His clients appreciate Philipp’s pragmatic and results-oriented approach.

Philipp joined FGS Global from Axel Springer Group, where he was Chief Operating Officer at Axel Springer Digital Ventures. Previously, he was Managing Director at Axel Springer International and Head of Portfolio at Axel Springer Digital Classifieds. During this time, he worked at the forefront of the group’s digital transformation. His responsibilities comprised transactions, joint ventures and high-stakes, multi-stakeholder projects. Before that, he was a lawyer at Hogan Lovells International LLP. Earlier in his career, he was a management assistant to a member of executive board of Bertelsmann AG / Sony BMG and worked as journalist.

Philipp studied law and business administration at Bucerius Law School, Hamburg (Germany), and at Washington & Lee University School of Law, VA (USA). Later, he worked as postgraduate assistant at the Chair of Public & EU Law and earned his doctorate in law from Bucerius Law School.
