Rima is a public affairs and communications strategist who works with governments and businesses to develop compelling narratives that reach audiences worldwide.
In the Middle East, Rima has developed narrative and communications strategies for corporations and government entities across KSA and the UAE, managed media engagements for wide-scale events and announcements, and advised international companies on localized public policy communications and risk mitigation in the technology sector.
Prior to working in the Gulf, Rima served over multiple Administrations in the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Global Public Affairs, specializing in using research and analytics to steer public diplomacy. She executed communications strategies for White House foreign policy campaigns, wrote speeches for the Secretary of State and White House officials, and trained U.S. diplomats on data-driven campaign development worldwide.
Rima holds a Masters in Communication, Culture & Technology from Georgetown University and a Bachelors of Arts in International Affairs, Journalism, and Arabic from DePaul University.
