Roberta Lusardi is Managing Director for Energy and Climate at FGS Global in Brussels. She is an energy and industrial policy specialist with 15 years of experience across corporate, institutional, and advisory roles in Europe and the MENA region.
Roberta advises multinational clients on EU energy, climate and industrial policy, regulatory developments, stakeholder engagement, and strategic positioning.
Prior to joining FGS Global, Roberta built her Brussels career across consultancy and corporate roles. At Brunswick Group, she advised global energy players on public affairs, corporate communications, and ESG engagement at EU level. Earlier, as Head of Stakeholders at ENEL's Brussels office, she led the company's engagement with EU industry associations, and the broader European energy ecosystem.
Before moving to Brussels, Roberta spent eight years at ENEL in senior roles spanning Europe and the MENA region, where she supported ENEL's top management on corporate strategy, international expansion, and renewable energy project development. Based in Abu Dhabi, she focused on clean energy partnerships and institutional relations across the UAE, Morocco, and Algeria, engaging with bodies such as the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) and contributing to initiatives such as RES4Africa and Desertec on North Africa-Europe renewable energy integration.
Roberta holds a Master's degree in Middle East Studies from Johns Hopkins University SAIS. She is fluent in English, Italian, French, and Spanish, and has a working knowledge of Arabic.
