Enjoys playing golf, skiing and spending time outside with his wife and daughter.

Ron Low is a Partner in the San Francisco office. He advises global clients on M&A, capital markets transactions, proxy contests, crisis situations and management changes, as well as corporate positioning and investor relations programs.

Recent assignments include KKR on its positioning across North America, Synopys on its planned acquisition of Ansys, Naver on its acquisition of Poshmark, Coherent on its investments from Denso and Mitsubishi Electric, and Ant Group on various corporate matters around the world.

His activist defense experience includes Toshiba on its response to activist shareholders over a multi-year period, eBay on its relations with Carl Icahn and various clients on their interactions with Elliott Management.

He also has extensive crisis communications experience, including working with clients to manage regulatory and litigation matters in North America and Asia, Expedia and Hotels.com on a global data breach and URS Corporation following one of the worst bridge failures in U.S. history.

Prior to joining the firm, Ron served as Director of Communications at Pacific Gas and Electric Company and began his career working in the California Governor's Office. He holds a B.A. degree in political science from the University of California, Davis.
