Sarah Walker is a Director in the firm’s Government Affairs, Policy, and Advocacy practice based in the DC office. As a member of the International Affairs team, she specializes in foreign policy, global health, trade, and national security. She also manages legal compliance for the firm.
Prior to joining FGS Global, Sarah worked in the International and Public Relations sectors at the Podesta Group. Previously, she authored the Iraq Security and Humanitarian Monitor published by the Education for Peace in Iraq Center. Before moving to DC, Sarah taught at a military academy through the French Department of Defense. She formerly directed a microfinance initiative in Ecuador.
Sarah is a Fellow at the Shafik Gabr Foundation, whose mission is to bolster bilateral relations between the U.S. and Egypt.
Sarah holds a Master of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University and a BA in International Affairs from Vanderbilt University.
