As a Director on Finsbury Glover Hering’s Energy & Sustainability team, Sarah Zukowski helps clients develop and implement communications strategies to share and amplify their climate priorities and environmental efforts. With a background on Capitol Hill and political campaigns, Sarah works with clients to build a compelling narrative based in science and then helps them reach the right policy audience. Based out of the firm's D.C. office, Sarah is working on climate programs and communications campaigns from the local to international level.
Prior to joining the firm, Sarah led communications strategy for Bully Pulpit Interactive’s biggest environmental and climate-focused clients in addition to helping develop and implement strategy for advocacy and political campaigns. Before Bully Pulpit, Sarah was Speechwriter and Deputy Communications Director for Senator Catherine Cortez Masto in her Senate office and on her successful Senate campaign. Sarah also served as Press Secretary for Senator Richard Blumenthal and worked on the press teams for multiple political campaigns, including Senator Cory Booker’s first run for office in 2013 and former President Barack Obama’s re-election in 2012.
Sarah is a graduate of Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio, from which she holds a degree in Biology and Environmental Studies. She lives in Washington, D.C.
