Life Beyond FGS Global

Happiest outdoors — kayaking in the Lofoten Islands or hiking in the Slovenian Alps.

Saskia Eggeling is a Director in FGS Global's Berlin office, where she advises companies on how political and regulatory developments affect their strategic decisions. Her work often begins before a situation is fully defined — understanding the relevant actors, mapping conflicting interests, and identifying where room for action exists. She works with clients in the energy and industry sectors, as well as organizations in the impact and non-profit space. She also advises clients in crisis situations where political and reputational dynamics are closely intertwined.

Before joining FGS Global, Saskia held senior advisory roles in the Berlin state government and the German Bundestag. She worked directly with ministerial leadership across the portfolios of economics, energy, science, and health.

She holds an M.Sc. in International Area Studies from Martin-Luther-University Halle/Wittenberg and studied in Israel. She is also a former scholar of the Konrad-Adenauer-Foundation. Outside of work, Saskia is happiest outdoors: kayaking in the Lofoten Islands or hiking in the Slovenian Alps.
