Scott McAbee is a Managing Director in the Government Affairs division and brings expertise from serving in all three branches of government. Most recently, Scott served at the Department of Justice in two Divisions, where he led teams in noteworthy enforcement actions involving competition and consumer protection.
Scott also worked at an international law firm leading high-stakes litigation and white-collar investigations prior to his time in government. In private practice, Scott advised clients facing all stages of legal disputes including government facing litigation. Scott began his career as an appellate defender in New York City.
Scott is a graduate of the University of Nevada and the Brooklyn Law School. He clerked for Judge Andrew L. Carter on the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York and Judge Johnnie B. Rawlinson on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
