Dr. Sebastian Doedens is a Managing Director in FGS Global’s Munich office. He advises clients on the development and implementation of policy and regulatory strategies - and how to communicate them to various stakeholders.
Prior to joining FGS Global, he spent more than a decade at global media and technology company Hubert Burda Media, where he worked at the intersection of politics, media, technology and regulation. He was responsible for all engagement with politics and associations on national and EU level, and he was involved in various legislative files, advocacy campaigns, anti-trust cases and parliamentary hearings. Beyond his public affairs roles, he was Strategy Director of German news magazine "Focus". During that time, he built up a political talk show series, which he led to profitability. Until his move to FGS Global, he was vice-chairman of the board of Bavaria‘s Magazine Publishers Association.
Sebastian studied in Munich and Madrid and earned a doctorate from LMU Munich.
