Life at FGS Global

Seiji helps clients turn policy signals and geopolitical shifts into actionable strategy. With 25 years in diplomacy, multilateral forums and boardrooms, he enables leadership teams to spot disruption, seize opportunity and build lasting stakeholder trust.

Life Pre-FGS Global

Seiji served at Japan’s Foreign Ministry and Prime Minister’s Office on trade talks, security policy and crisis response. He later ran Japan programmes at the World Economic Forum and, as Eurasia Group’s Japan lead, guided CEOs through geopolitics, economic security and growth planning.

Life Beyond FGS Global

Outside the firm, Seiji is a Lead Navigator for Agenda 2025 at Expo 2025 Osaka Kansai, shaping its future focused theme weeks. On weekends he skippers a fishing boat in Sagami Bay.

Seiji Inada combines government insight with global business perspective, bringing more than a quarter century of experience to FGS Global.

After a brief stint in investment banking's M&A advisory services, he began his career at Japan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, joining early Economic Partnership Agreement talks and later serving in Brussels and Lyon on EU trade and bilateral political and security related postings. At the Prime Minister's Office (Cabinet Secretariat) he helped frame national security policy and coordinated the government action during the 2011 earthquake, tsunami and Fukushima nuclear accident.

After a period with an international consulting firm, and later with financial institutions, leading their government engagement and corporate communications efforts, Seiji then became Head of Government Engagement for Japan at the World Economic Forum, managing ministerial programs in Davos and launching the Global Future Council on Japan. In 2020 he was appointed Japan Representative of Eurasia Group, where he led a Tokyo team that supported more than 60 multinationals on geopolitical and economic security risk.

Seiji remains active in public-sector dialogue: he has served on the Japanese government’s ICT International Strategy Council for Japan’s Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications. He is also a Lead Navigator for Agenda 2025 at Expo 2025 Osaka Kansai, shaping the event’s future‑focused theme weeks.
